has  anyone seen the new timming cover for the new gen hemi motors? it has a place for a dist........ http://www.arringtonengines.com/p-203-new-hemi-chipkillr.aspx   the price is a lil out of control but give it time till a cheaper verson comes out. this opens up a whole new realm of aplications for this motor

I happen to know where there is a complete 06 5.7 with 43K on it for sale.  I would imagine you can get the harnes and ECM with it.
 
Lemme know if you want to explore it.
 
If I had the money, I might consider it for Polaraco.

i have 2 03-04 cores at the yard, its just not worth the $$$$ to do one right now, the parts are just too expensive

I would like to put a 6.1 in a 67-69 Barracuda to see what kind of performance I could get out of it. HMMMMMMMM maybe put one in the Fury with a 727 and a gear venders over/under drive, now all I need is to hit the lottery and......

i just thought it was cool that there coming out with parts to make this efi coil over plug motor more like a old school hemi. just think of the questions when you open the hood to the untrained eye, plug wires throught the valve covers, distributor in the front, and carb.
