I'm Back
« on: February 22, 2009, 11:06:29 AM »

well hi there guys. i'm back. after a long break from Mopars, i've decided to come back and see what was going on.
The Missus and I are still living in the land of ice and snow(northern MI). we now drive a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am GT(nice car but GM front drive V6 is crap). the Boys are doing good and with work being so damned hard to find the hunt for a new Mopar is still on hold. other than that not much has changed. some good news, the missus and I have decided to quit smoking. any questions?? just ask

i'm trying. Tax refund goes to bills this year. and we just replaced a 300 fuel pump in the pontiac, and then a rear axel and rim. but thats ok we should be able to afford some slight extras this year. and summer is coming so work should hopefully follow. Caemon is randomly in and out of the hospital, and Wilson just keeps getting older . Wil's almost 3 now, and Caemon turns 1 in March. and some news. we have a third on the way (hopefully NOT twins), she's due on Halloween. so hanging in there is just what we will due

Congratulations James!!  We have 3, and they are the great
blessing of our lives. And thank heavens, the last will be done with
college this year, it's no wonder we feel like we are always
broke!!

My age at my kids birth was: 27,32,37... all were exactly 5 yrs apart!
And no, we didn't plan it, it just happened that way!... so my oldest
about to be 32, and my youngest turned 22 just yesterday  (born on
Washington's Birthday).  Now, I know it's a cliche, but enjoy 'em,
they'll be gone before you know it. I'd give almost anything to have
them little and at home again, it was the best time of our lives in
many ways, even if hectic and not always  easy.

If you're looking for a fun economical vintage Mopar, check out a '73
or older Dart/Valiant w/ Slant 6  and 4 doors- really roomy in the
back seat because they are boxy, easy in & out, and also very
dependable, plus they go forever!! The post '73s were a bit more
cantakerous due to un-perfected emission controls though. I had 68, 70
and 72 Darts - great cars all!
