While packing up and moving out of my shop, I came across 3 long lost photos of my original 73 Imperial and my Dad's 66 NewYorker....I haven't seen these for at least 20 years!
This one is 1985, as my new GLH is back there...

This one is from 1984, fresh out of high school....my Roadrunner is there, as is my Dad's '81 Newport (slant 6 , it rusted out on the showroom floor....)

Dad's 66 NYKR, probably around 1982. The neighbors driveway in the background has 3 Mopars...a 1977 Cordoba 400, a Dart Swinger 318, and a restored black '71 340 Duster

Really glad I found these....brings back good memories

Great pics!!

Now,Bob..Please take this on a positive note from a friend who cares.

Only if you have the energy now you had then, you can get the Imp2 and RR back on the road.
Maybe the pics can give you inspiration to do something.
Sometimes to have to look into the past in order to move forward.
The Imp2 will require minimal work to be on the road.
The RR is a car that will never lose any value so whatever you put into it will not be lost.
Labour costs nothing when you DIY.
You got the time, skills and tools..GET TO WORK!
I hope this motivates you and get you back to where you can relive the "glory days" of being surrounded by Mopars you love.

The Imperial will be on the road soon....may have to drive it's 5000lb mass out here during the move.... plus it can hold 1/2 my shop in it's trunk!

He ALWAYS leaves out that part!!! But he is right in that the RR is worth BIG BUCKS!!! And  anything you do to it will only up the value!! Just do what ya can Bob. I'm in the same boat.

10 Q Arlen!

My plan is to keep the car forever, so it's monetary value doesn't matter.....

Those 2 dr Fuesy Imps are AMAZING - I always wanted a '70...  that
'81 Newport with /6 looks just like my '80 Reege - white with blue
top?  Anyhow, the Rs with a 6 must be pretty rare, I never came
across one! Luckily, the rust bug hasn't goten to mine yet...

Bob:  If you don't get off yer butt and fix up that Imp, I will personally come up there and beat you with a tire iron.

Stan: Fix? Other than tune up and fluid changes, all it needs is a headliner, unstick the parking brake cables, and get the A/C working.....nothing that will keep it off the road! Right now I have to wait to title it in PA....and change my driver's license, my addresses.....etc

Firedome: Take off a interior door panel and look in there....our Newport got hit in the DS door and the bodyshop guy called us and said "get rid of this car after we fix it....the entire inside of the door was red with rust!" I remember the white paint cracking and falling off of the door jambs and hinges. This was the car I took my driver's test with....the /6 couldn't get out of it's own way..... we sold it and bought a '78 LeBaron coupe (mint green with the brightest white interior you ever sat in - more lights inside than a stadium!)

I could never warm up to the Imperials.  The interiors were never as elegant as the Cadillacs and the Lincolns
