Looks like the general concensus is Dynomax. I can honestly go with any brand as long as it can get me to the sound I'm trying to accomplish, and as long as my car doesn't sound like a Phord.  I have heard the Dynomax mufflers sound better the longer you have them on the car, which would be a good thing, since I plan on keeping this car a while.     My exhaust tips will be different than factory though. I plan on having the tips at a 45 degree angle, pointing down at the corners of the rear bumper. I did this on my Imp and it looks cool when it's warming up.
damn, I ramblin here....I was on the internet last night and came across some website, DXM, MDX, or something like that, (I should've save the site) but there was a complete dump kit for $179 for both sides, and there was even a couple video's on their site that showed the functionality of their product. It seemed to be quality stuff and not a bad price, but I can't find this site again. Anyone ever hear of this company or know their web address?

I'm having a difficult posting pic's to this site, but Polarco posted my Imp and 300 when I first joined Moparfins

While it is not a C-body,it is a Mopar just the same, my 99 Intrepid ES with the 3.2 V6, had the exhaust replaced 2 months ago to a true dual exhaust, using a Cherry Bomb dual inlet/dual outlet(muffler also has an X pipe inside) has a great rumble to it when I jump on it and a great back down when I use the autostick and hold it in gear.

I'd be interested in hearing that Tom.  I've never much cared for the sound of V-6s with custom exhaust, but I'd sure like it if my 3.9 Dakota sounded more like a "real truck."  But I don't want to pay for something and then be dissapointed.

I did hear a 225 with the split exhaust manifold and FMs once in Sacramento - it did sound good!

Oh, don't worry; I understood your original intent!

Of course he would have owned a Dodge - it had the Spirit and he could take the Disciples in a Caravan!  AND, only Dodge can spell GOD with its letters!

I believe He would laugh, but He seems to be a mite testy here in His second coming....
