HELP! May need a car hauler...
« on: January 01, 2009, 05:40:05 PM »

Ok Kahoona, gunna need some help shortly.

Yeah I've been away for a while.  No there hasn't been much work done to the Monaco in the past few months.

Lea,  Still got that cb antenea sittin here for ya.

So I got laid off awhile back and an oportunity has presented itself on the east coast.  The wife and I have been looking for a reason to get back there and here it may be.  Yeah I won't be back to CT or even NJ...   Have to move to MD but that's ok.  It's closer to home than here.

ANYWAY, I'm looking for info on car haulers.  I figure you guys regularly haul parts etc and was wondering if there's deals to be had out there or not.  Will be shipping the Monaco and possibly the Magnum and Ram.

If you guys know of anyone let me know.

Thanks,
Bill

FD,

I'll be working in Owing Mills.  Looking for something out of the way away from the hustle and bustle but not too much of a drive.  Out here I was driving 38 miles one way about an hour and a half each way, and when it snows it's 2.5 or 3.25 hours oneway easy.

Looking to rent or lease as I've learned you guys call it.  Have three well trained dogs that are coming too.  So if you  know of any houses for rent/lease that would be greatly appreciated.  Also towns that fit the type I'm looking for.  Right now I can reach out the window and be within 2 feet of touching my neighbors house so space would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Boss,

Thanks for the info I'll send him a PM today.

Well were looking at storing out here until we're completely settled out there.  So I figure I have a plane trip or two back to CO and figure out where everything is going to end up.

I have an office in Aurora, but not due to go out there until spring now.  If that works, I can get it back here for you.  At least it iwll be in Jersey.

Just cover the fuel costs.  Since fuel is low and I get decent mileage loaded, that should be a no brainer.  Then you can run up here and pick it up.

Where are you in CO?

The car will end up being Arvada.  That's 21 miles from Aurora.  If you're willing to do that I'll have it in aurora where ever you would like to pick it up.  And absolutely I'll pick it up in NJ.  And If you'd like I have a load of 67 Polara parts to go with it.  Clean hood, fenders, trim etc  paint is gold.

Nope. . .No More parts. . . . .  I'm out of room as it is.  Starting to load up craigs list now. . .

But I can put parts on the trailer to bring back.  It's 24 feet of bed so there is room for parts.
