I was thinking this morning about all the help I got, the good advice given, and the helpfullness of everyone on this forum.  It occurred to me had this been elsewhere, it would have gone something like this:

The Chevy Forum:  That's because you got the part from Jegs, not Summitt...
The Ford Forum: Your flexplate is not flexing enough...
The Fiat Forum:  You would have had to rebuild it again next week anyway...
The Corvette Forum:  What kind of wax did you use...
The Buick Forum:  I'm not familiar with anything newer than a '52...
The Jaguar Forum:  You should have dropped in a Chevy engine in the first place...
The Porsche Forum:  My mechanic Hans (who charged me $500 to ask him this  question)  says...
The MG Forum:  Replace everthing that has a wire attached to it....
