Update on the brake booster.

I found a tag on the bottom. After gingerly cleaning it up so I could read it, it says.....
Chry-Dodge-Ply
L.H.D.
1967-C
C-4212-C

Will that help define what I have?

Hey, whats wrong with working at autozone???? I get a good discount on my crappy foreign made parts.

Nuttin' wrong with being a parts guy Al, I did it for ten-years.  I never "got in the zone" though....

I miss the people the most, when you figure out their problem you are a saint to them.  Sell them the wrong part and you're a (insert expletive here).  I have tons of stories...  I DON'T miss making hydraulic hoses but mixing paint was always interesting.

I made a lot of good friends across the parts counter over the years.

Oh, the Midland Ross was probably the most commom booster found on C's from that time.  Both of my drum brake cars ('66 & '68) had one.  My '68 NYer was a Budd disc car

L.H.D. would be for Left Hand Drive.
Since C's were built down in Austrailia as well at that time.
The 1967 C is self explainitory.
Not sure what the last set of gumbers are.

Nope, I'm guessing the 4212 is possibly a run number. I'll let you know when I get the new one if I picked the right one.  67Newport2008-12-02 18:29:47
