Snotty in the Spotlight

Got my Hemming's Classic Cars mag today... so I'm perusing the Recaps
(reader's letters section) and began to read this letter about the
writer's tendancy to engage car people in the minutae of engine trivia
such as: Did GM make a 302? Did Mopar make a 350? ...and I start to
think - Geez,  that sure sounds familiar... hmmm... wasn't there a
similar thread on the 'Fins last year??.... well, lo and behold, I look
at the end of the letter - and it was none other than our own
CyberMinister, the Right Rev Scott, writing in to commend Hemmings for
newly educating him as to the fact that 383s were found not only in
Mopars but also in '58/9 Mercs... just one more tidbit to keep us on
our toes, eh? ....Congrats on the 15 minutes of fame!!!

Ha!  I just got the issue yesterday and have not read it yet!  Now I have a reason!  Whoo-hoo!

I've written a number of letters that have appeared in magazines and newspapers.  I always like it when one actaully gets printed.

Thanks for the head's up!

I had a letter published in HMM too......I wrote in asking how I could keep the hubcaps from flying off my 58 Plymouth every time I drive it.......the response said, "it's not exactly rocket science, take a pair of pliers and expand the tabs outward".......I was happy to be called a moron for asking a simple question

and how it's amazing how when yer hubcap flies off, it gets automatically run over by the next 10 cars following you.......not one missed it......flat as a pancake......why can't it fly off onto the sidewalk so you don't have to spend $75 for another one
