Hi Guys, I may need my thinking checked here. Let me know if I'm off. It looks like this car was on its way to being restored and then sold to the present owner. Now the present owner wants to sell. He's e-mailed me undercarriage shots...looks rock solid...However he has not sent me any exterior lower panel shots. Not sure why yet...If I was restoring this car, I wouldn't be painting it like this, but it is what it is. Anyways, I'm trying to tell this guy that he does not have a #3 car here (he wants 15k for it)...It's more like a #4 and at least about 10k away from leaping to a # 2...so....going by CCMR it should be selling for ~7k or so..9k tops??...Agree or Disagree? (CCMR guide attached below).... Also...has anyone heard of a 313 ci? Excellent project for a sonoramic commando?  I thought SC was based on 383? Is this a typo? He did mention it's candian built.

One more thing Hey Lea..Anything I should know about getting a car out of Canada? Any red tape doing this?

I detect some sloppy work there

2 Quick examples
Exhaust system
And it looks like the fuel line is poorly done
what is that green stuff poking throught he RF floor?

Be careful. . .  For that kind of money I'd go look at it

313 was the Canuck version of the 318, pre-LA, identical really.
I'd venture its a 5-6K car these days, given market reality.

Green stuff looks like grease to me..Didn't see fuel line or exhaust..will look though.. I saw trans cool lines up front by radiator spliced in w/ rubber....but what about my question Steve....Am I right to think this guy is at least 6k too high on his price? Wouldn't this be considered a #4 car? (but with great potential with a paintjob) As far as looking at it....Even if he wanted 7-9k for it, I'd have to go look first. I'll never will buy without looking again. Did that once...never again...That's why I had to go to Detroit last week even after I told the guy I wanted it. Afterward, I had that little voice go off in my head..."remember the last time you bought on photos only"??  Sure enough, I couldn't buy that Savoy...just too much work....and it's up on Ebay now...a Detroit classic car dealer got a hold of it...He doesn't mention hardly any of the problems I saw..

Looking at it again, gotta say it does look really solid - it may be
worth going out on a limb for 7K or so... these don't exactly grow on
trees anymore, 'specially around here.

Thanks Firedome...even ~3k less than I was thinking huh??. The owner will be keeping it for a while then.....(if he stays set at 15k for it)...Another 60 Ply-mouth (for me) to keep an eye on.

Contact 60 Dart

Chuck just bought one.  He may know where there is a puff laying around. His budget was smaller.

I saw it.Too much money and too much work left to do.
It is a nice car but it may not be what you are really looking for.
