I know where Stitch and Polaraco stand on 60 Plymies...Can you say coyote ugly?..., but how about the rest of you guys?....Is $5400.00 too much for this? It's a 20 footer...It needs quite a bit of work. I'm a bit worried about all the bubbles...I know whats going on under there....The stainless side trim is pretty dented up...dash is old lookin...engine compartment DIRTY DIRTY...I don't know...I can't wait to get myself into more work...

I'm a sucker for low-line 2 dr. sedans. I'm willing to pay a premium for it over hardtops and 4 doors.  I think it's because it brings me back to the day when those were the true NASCAR stockers.

I'm also a sucker for that year Plymouth.  All aspects fo the design are the quintisential outrageous excessives of the era.  For that, I see the beauty.

Would I buy it? No.  I'd have this overwhelming compulsion to bring it up to a #2+ car and that would take more bucks than even B-J could get for it.

But otherwise....

Yah.  I love it!

No other comments on it? I actually should make a decision on it soon. The guy sent me some photos of the undercarriage and it doesn't look too bad. It does have some rust but none of it looks like its structurally compromised. What do you guys think? Can you see anything that I don't that looks worrisome? Is $5400.00 too much?? That's as low as he'll go. To answer your post Matt, I tried the 5k offer already...He said he has $5800.00 into it....initially he said $5800.00 was as low as he'd go, but then he said if I reeeaallly wanted it he'd go 54...

I dunno Bob, $5400 for a driver aint too bad.  I like the car!  Since it runs and drives offer the seller 5k and see what happens.  Hopefully the original wheels are also included...

Nice clean car.No flash but sure shows the simple lines.
Oh and only a face a mother can love,IMO!!
Lots of room under the hood to upgrade powertrain.
1960 was the first year for the slanty six and the use of an alternator.
I would leave it a /6 but add a supercharger,plane the head 100 thou,add larger valves,a cam,headers and duals.
The hard part is done--the interior which is very nice.
Put a red gumball and siren on top,add some flames and "Fire Chief" on the doors and have flaming tailpipes!!!
The car is a nice blank canvass that you can do anything to it.

Needs dingo balls..

If King Richard had painted fangs and eyeballs on the front of that thing, the competition would have crapped their pants seeing that in the rearview......more so than they did seeing King Richard behind them!

The more I look at the pictures, the happier I am that it's not near me.  I wouldn't sleep at night knowing that it's for sale.
