The car is less appealing the second time around.

Commando1...I have to agree with you. The chrome looks old....the headliner is stained....the front seat upholstery is shot. The engine compartment is grimy (plus it's not an original D500). I don't know if I would have been in a hurry to fork over 12k for this car had I the chance to see it in person. It's too bad Earl can't be totally honest though.

This what I just wrote Earl in an (Ask the seller a question on E-bay) :

I find it very sad that you say it is very difficult for you to describe this car....that the clients don't know any history whatsoever. Personally I don't believe there are any clients....if it's not your car why do you have personalized license plates on it "EARL-TWO". I'm one of the guys from Moparfins.com that helped end your first attempt to auction this car off. You have the history on this car!! I know you do...It was on the poster board that was in the car when you bought it...It was in the first set of auction photos. It was well documented in a High Performance Mopar magazine written when prior owner Larry Delizio, from Clyde, NY owned it and it was not a D500 car then. Earl... why don't you just tell the truth about this car. Yes it's in fairly good condition and it's a neat old Mopar fin car but tell the people it's history...You know it and we know it. I just hope they know it soon enough before another person is scammed .

Obviously,Mr.Earl is not listening.
We all should report his listing to E bay.
Or start a search engine posting that MR.Earl is a liar.aka when Steve did the AIG insurance thing
I reported his listing.

I called e-bay just a few minutes ago. Earl's 100% positive ffedback rating is legit because e-bay just looks at the last 12 months...All of his prior negatives (10) and neutrals (4) are not a factor because they all happened more than 12 months ago. Bidders Beware!! I did not know this...I bet you a lot of people don't know. If anyone has to file a report yet on Earl's fraudulent auction of this 57 Coronet D500, include a link to the High Performance Mopar magazine featured article. The e-bay girl said to do this. I already filed my report but didn't provide the link to Leaburn's post of it.

All he has to do is simply add the word "tribute" after the D500 in his ad and he would be in compliance....

Thanks Brian, You're the man  Now, We'll see what happens with Earl and his "D500". I havn't been impressed with e-bay's security dept. They never even followed up with me the last time I filed a complaint. I haven't done any business with them in quite a while...this may be the end for me.

We can do only so much.
Buyer beware-caveat emptor.
I think we have beaten this dead horse long enough.
Mr.Earl is not going to listen to us.he is certainly not listening to the FL guys (they shot me down,I took them on).
All we can do is pray that the new buyer has done their research/homework before buying.
