Man, that was 20 years ago.  But, in looking at the pictures this morning I did notice the frame in the bottom picture.  So, if these are of two different types, I'd say the ones the lawyer bought were like the above picture.  I remember it was a kit where you swapped the Jeep tires with these tracks.  It did put the Jeep into the Stratusphere.

(Sorry Stan, no law-suit; every one in town knew the guy was a dope!  All he wanted to do was go between Highway 49 and his front door.  No problem in the summer, but once the snow fell the trees he had planted, and the natural pines and firs kept the sun away from his very long driveway.  He didn't want his wife to have to walk, or be in the cold on a snowmobile.  Guess what happened after he rolled the Jeep?

By the way, the town had a whopping 300 residents.)

Not like the originals...the original was more sensual than sexual like these new-fangled ones!

That is cool. . . .  I had thought of making one just like that, but don't have the place to do it.

I was going to make a cab over out of a diesel pick up.  A buddy of mine and I attempted to make one of those old Dodge 900's with the flip out fenders years ago.  That was a flop
