Very interesting article...good idea using a vehicle that is already proven and easily identifiable as a chrysler product.
 
I like the idea of an electric vehicle...if you run solar panels on the roof of your house as part of the charging station you could potentialy run your car for pennies a mile.

I heard the bigger vehicles will be Diesel Electric like a a locomotive.
 
I've been wanting to build one like that for years.  That is the most efficient way of moving around a heavy vehicle

I remember reading something about this in a 1957 issue of Popular Science....

One of the first electric cars was a taxi back in 1890's if my fuzzy memory serves me....
