It was never intended for hole shots.  ***wonders why he keeps blowing motor mounts***

Who needs hydraulics when the torque of a 440 can get daylight under the left front tire??? That is an awesome feat
especially in a stock fully loaded 4600 lb car!!!
The torsion bars can handle the abuse.
I am surprised the driver did not break a motor mount.(Mobby????)
Sure it may be considered abuse by some. But it is also proof in Chrysler's engineering that can withstand the abuse.
Case in point;
The stunt team and mechanics on the "Bullitt" movie
commented that the Mopar front end held up much better in the jump scenes compared to the frequently broken Mustang's front end.

Oh,and ,uh..yes Mobby DOES drive like that!!! LOL!!

Let's not give Mobby any ideas. . . . .

John, except for the timing chain and exhaust system, you should be able to do that.

We'll do the chain this fall.  But again, it's done at Hobby's Garage.

You can clean the parts.

Ahh that is a good sound, when a 440 is bookin ass down the road. If
the 72 could burn out B would need tires as well. But to Johns Credit
he hasent been as hard on the old girl latley, so give the boy a break.
He just gets on her a little to move the soda can cars outta the way
now and to blow the doors off other cars when getting on the highway.

I dont know what he does when I'm not in the car but for the most parts
he's been good. Other wise I'm sure the Blossman will have to set up a
road block for old mobby when we come visit.

The timing chain will be the next session of HSM what a day that should be

People only remember the bad stuff.

I haven't seen him drive lately, so I'll take your word for it.  But the last time I saw him, I was convinced it was the mound behind the wheel.  Not the mount.

It's OK John.  Now that you have a GOOD carb on there, we have something to work with.

I agree with Lea (like I often do) (scary) but Mobby that is one of those "Don't try this at home." kinda videos. Also that was a peg leg burnout (a la Ruby) You have Sur-grip right???
probably why you have a harder time trying to smoke the hides.
