Did you watch th video?  The exhaust actually throws a consistent flame because the exhaust temps get so high.  I believe from the DPF.

Ya ya ya  I watched the video.   Was just being a smart azz.   You can find kits to make your ride do this if ya want.  Flame won't last as long though.   I could see some high school kid with this problem, well to him it wouldn't be a problem.

Ford hasn't made a good engine since the 300-6 IMHO.  I've sold more Triton exhaust manifolds than I can count.

Isn't the current Ferd diesel still an International engine design like the ol' 6.9's and 7.3's?  Aaaaand how's about those diesel Rangers and Escorts ftom the early '80s?  Mmmmm mmmmm gooood...

The 300 I6 was and still is a great motor...then again just about all the I6 motors were good.  Even the modern day (now discontinued) 4.0 aka 242 found in the Jeep Wranglers, Cherokees and Grand Cherokees until 2006.

Isn't the only manufacturer taht still has a I6 BMW now?

I think so...

Jaguar nixed thier trusty DOHC I-6s too fer V-6's and V-8's.  I dunno about thier contankerous V-12.

The 4.0 in Siss' Cherokee has the aftermarket header on it and it runs like a striped-a$$ed-ape!

Now I have to stand up for the Ford 3.0 V6.

My 93 Aerostar hit 300,000 miles without ever needing more than tuneups and a waterpump.

Stop babying it and see what happens.

ANY In-Line 6 was good.  I can't think of any that were's tough and took abuse.  Fords 250 was as good as the 300.  If I were going to by a Ford, I'd look for a 300.

Fordesa Diesel is a joke.  (Durajoke)  It has low tork and unreliable.  Why is it so different from International Truck Motors?
