My dad claims to have driven one of those Lambs once, while he was on shore leave in Naples.  Sweet car for certain!  Back in that day one US serviceman's pay whould buy a new Fiat!  Also, lot's of sailors made good money buy selling PX purchased American ciggys to the Italians!  They musta' liked Marlboro's.
 
Alas, all of my imported vehicles came from England.  I hope Bob has lots of stinky ol' horse haar on hand cuz' I'm looking at another Land Rover.
