Well, there's a reason that so little happened in 3 years' time... but maybe, maybe it will turn out in an awesome opportunity.

The deal on the 61 is off - car is without papers. But have a very good offer pending, very close to a deal.

Not on the pics: new bearings + seals installed on the rear axle, and new joints for the driveshaft.

Nice work!! - we haven't heard from ya for a while!  so are you
going to keep on with your '71 Sport Fury coupe? I don't think you'll
regret it, as more time goes by, the 70/71 Sport Fury GT is already
considered the most desirable of any C Body. You could make one easy:
440 6  Pack!

Don't know if you've seen under Cars Wanted "Sapphire" our new '70 F3.

No, this is all "pre-delivery" work

Things got a bit slow as I had an ongoing infection to my eyes for some time, preventing me from spending much time at the pooter, or in the garage as well... but meanwhile, the car is not far from going to a very eager new owner.

He visited me last Saturday. I shared the progress with him, and the good news on the worn out lower control arm bushings and ball joint dust-boots. On the other hand, he gets a lot of new stuff installed on the car for basically the cost of the parts (rear springs + bushings, rear axle bearings + seals, completely new brake system incl. lines, etc), so basically its still not very a bad deal for him I guess.
