/6 Headers and 2bbl intake Question
« on: June 02, 2008, 02:41:50 PM »

Does $290 shipped for almost new headers and a Super Six 2 bbl intake for a /6 sound reasonable?  Any feedback would be nice, found somebody on another board selling and would like to give him an answer asap.  Thanks

That doesn't sound too bad Mike.  The shipping alone has to be 50 Bucks.

That include a carb?

Unfortunately it doesn't include carb, he already sold that.  He said 260 for both and 30 shipping...the headers go for like 350 brand new from clifford and the intake is usually about 100, so I figured this is a pretty good deal.

Good deal.
You can actually hog out  a Stromberg 2bbl to flow like a toilet.
Or get a nice working 318 Carter ball and ball and tune it with a fine tooth comb. You'd be surprised on how well it will work.
A fellow Moparite here in town had a '73 Swinger with the /6 headers and had a set of duals made up with it.It sounded awesome! Did not sound like a 6 nor like an 8! He got lots of people asking what was under the hood!!

Sounds like a good deal.

I heard a Dart once with a split header, 4 bbl, dual exhaust and flomasters at a show in Sacramento.  Sounded sweet!  The owner said he got good power, and still had his good MPG as well.

Go for it!

I remember looking at a '65 Dart looong ago.  It had the "Super Six" logo on the air cleaner...  Should I have been more attentive?
