Painted Road Wheels.
« on: May 13, 2008, 04:50:00 AM »

Well, went to the plater yesterday to give him the centers to my Road Wheels.
They were pretty well shot and they were going to cost $600.  Sorry.  Not me!!

So what do you you when you're poor?  Sandblast, then paint'em (to match), of course.

$600 to rechrome the centers..............is that what chroming costs nowadays.

I know the price of base metals and stuff has gone up up up but I didn't think it was that much.

What does it costs to get a good size bumper rechromed??  I had 68 B-body ones done 10+ years ago now for about $500 for the pair....
