Looks in really good shape.  Keep us up to date.  You can keep adding progress pics to this.  Especially the resto and innovative stuff.

The ________ the bad and the ugly...

Spare tire well...

Again... oh and those are not trunk floors they are signs that were cut up and screwed to the floor well... its a wonder the gas tank is held there...
and that paper i guess is some kind of tacky sign covering... sigh metal work...

more bad rust...

on the interior that i pulled...

hello big hole in rear fender well... how are you today?

someone did the fronts already a loooong time ago...

Gratuitous engine bay shots.... the area where the fender meets inner fender is rusted,,, i need to learn to weld...

grille shots, might need a repop... also the hood wont latch... suggestions?

Mike

You have all the welding and cutting equipment for that?  Allot of that stuff is not bolt on.

I might be able to bend up a few pieces for the inners for you.  You'll have to measure it out.  They still have to be welded in.

There's a place up here I can get 20 Guage sheet steel from. . . .  You want me to get you 1/2 a sheet?  it would be 5 X 4 foot.  I'll use the other half here.  Can send it down with the Mob Boss

I haven't ordered anything yet...been pickin up random odds and ends at work (electronic ignition conversion, filters, plugs, wires, etc.)  Really wanted to take a ride up to Jack's, Lea has me sold on it   But if I do order anything it will be the trunk floor and possibly the rear floor panels.  Steve, I'd be awesome if u could make me a 2 wheel well replacements...I'd take the trip up with Mobby and pick 'em up and give ya the cash for 'em (as for Mobby, I can't say the same )  I'll have to take a few measurements and pull out the entire trunk floor to see if I really will need both wheel wells, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say most likely I will.
Long as weather permits, I'd like to have the trunk floor completely removed tomorrow, so I can see exactly where I stand.

Done right, a good patch will do the trick on the floor.  Why not just make a new well bottom for the spare.

Just trying to save you some money. . .And with the lack of experience, a whole pile of frustration.

I've see allot worse

yea essentially... there is no real floor, everything in those trunk pics is simply a large tin sign that was cut and bent to lay over the rusted out real trunk flooring... the man needs new metal.

the rims on that car look to be 14 inch american racing slotted style...
