I played a bit with the Fury on the yard today. It seemed to have better throttle response than tuesday. And I played a bit with it, going sideways etc. The very light weight of the car makes it better handling than the Imp (much less understeer).

Both cars together:

Also, I'm starting to make a list of the things that need to be changed in order to get tags here. A few minor stuff, like EU-approved reflectors and headlight lenses, getting the horn to work, rewiring the turnsignal (it doesnt work while braking) etc. And the brakes drag a little, probably the master cilinder.

Unlike the Brakmobile, I'm not going to throw a lot of $$$ in upgrades on this car. Its going to be a more or less stock vehicle. So its going to be on some kind of a budget Wink

Watch your butt on what you do there. . .  I had to undo allot of upgrades done on Martins car to get it right.  Yes they are wiring nightmares for some reason.  Plymouth that year especially

Today, I toyed a bit with it on the yard, its very eager to smoke a tire or do a donut, and now that I'm getting a little used to the car, I discover its got really very tight handling. So the claim of previous owners that most of the front end was rebuilt appears to be true Smile

I'm going to keep it as simple as possible. Luckily, there's not much electrical stuff on it anyway, its quite a low buck car compared to the imp. I think I'll just throw the wiring in de bin and rewire it from scratch, often easier and quicker than trying to figure out what some enlightened previous owner did to it.

Yea I hear ya cheap parts do you no good and cost you money eventually to replace them. The Imp video was awsome I love looking out over all that hood, whenever the tranny is fixed burn out vedios would be nice , same for the fury.

OK, after a few months of illness, I'm getting back to my cars.

I bought new shocks, calipers, booster+master cilinder, brake lines, completely new rear brakes (except the drums themselves).

Also bought new wheel bearings for both the Imperial and the Fury. Funny to see how tiny the fury bearings look compared to the Imperial's.
