1969 Plymouth Valiant 100 Sedan
12-24-01 - Well, it's finally time for a makeover, for Elvira and for this site. Here's a list of the projects that I've started on ol' girl...
K-member swap, with engine IN the car...
Front End Rebuild with Polyurethane Bushings...
TTI Header install, with K-member OUT of the car...
3" TTI Exhaust system install...
I need to iron out the mechanicals before I start to make her pretty. Read on to see how she used to be. Hit the links above to see what's in store for her.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is Elvira, Ol' Faithful, my favorite.
She's been almost perfectly reliable transportation for the last 4 years, and it's her turn to be pampered for a while.
Some of her vitals are:
1969 Plymouth Valiant 100 2-door sedan, built on 3-14-69;
Original Spring Special package that includes 225 ci 6-cylinder, 3-speed manual on the column, manual steering, 13" wheels,
manual drum brakes, A/C, AM radio, drip rail mouldings, and deluxe vinyl interior with rubber floor mats. Dealer deleted the radio.

Somehow, I was able to justify the purchace price ("Just haul her off, and be quick about it").
She now has:
318 4bbl, close-ratio 4-speed trans, 8.25" rear end with 3.21 gears, 10x2" rear drums, 11.75" front discs,
15x6.5" wheels, 225/60HR15 tires, 1" front sway bar, big block torsion bars, 6-leaf rear springs, gas shocks,
89 Daytona bucket seats, a real radio.

Cop wheels, hood scoop, and 75,000 miles...

Plane Jane everything and 156,000 miles, still wearing the original Plymouth White paint.
