B-Body Rear Axle Install
OK, so not much here but the photos of the relocated spring perches. Maybe that's because that's all I have done, eh? So kwitcherbitchin, I'm getting to it....

Just your standard '67 B-body 8.75" axle housing. This one has had the spring perches relocated 1/2" inboard on each side to match A-body spring perch dimensions. Using a B-body axle moves the wheel flange of the axle out about 1.5" per side, allowing larger wheels, but requiring an appropriate backspace or offset to the wheels. For this project, I'm going to use modified '95 Mustang Cobra wheels... For the resto freaks out there, note the pale blue mark next to the opening. This is/was a capital M or W depending on how you look at it, opening up towards the hole. No idea what it means, but there it is.

Nice welds.

Even wrapped around the ends of the perches and ran about 1/2" inside.

The welder said that after he set the housing up in a jig, he found that the stock pads weren't parallel with eachother. They are now... New MP spring pads were used for this project.
